Many patients would like to observe their unborn baby with 3D/4D ultrasound and often go to a non-medical imaging facility where "fetal photos" are obtained. This approach often does not detect fetal problems, and is considered by the US Food and Drug Administration to be illegal because it does not offer medical benefits when performed in this manner.

During the past several months Dr. DeVore has been asked by many obstetricians if he could help find a solution to this problem. The main concern is that patients are spending money and not receivng any diagnostic benefit from the "mall fetal photo centers." After considering many factors, Dr. DeVore has developed a program that he feels will meet the needs of the family, as well as provide a diagnostic service that is affordable for many, Therefore, Dr. DeVore has initiated the 3D/4D Fetal Heart and Face Screening Program. This program will meet the patient's needs to view their unborn baby using 3D/4D technology, as well as detect potential problems that, when identified, may improve the health of the baby following birth.
