Various "fetal keepsake video" programs charge between $200 and $400+ for an examination, depending which plan you purchase, i.e. silver, gold, platinum, etc. The charge for the 3D/4D Fetal Heart and Face Screening Program is $250.

Q. What if the fetal heart and/or face cannot be imaged?

In almost all circumstances measurements of fetal growth and evaluation of the fetal heart can be accomplished. It is the face, however, than can be problematic because of fetal position, maternal adipose tissue, and other factors that interfere with our ability to acquire facial pictures.

If one or more of the above areas cannot be imaged with 3D/4D ultrasound, you will still be charged $250 for the examination.  However, you will be offered the opportunity to return for one repeat examination at no charge. If the second examination is not successful, then no further free evaluations will be offered. If you would like to continue to have us attempt to examine the fetus, the charge will be $75 per examination.

Q. Will you bill my insurance for the examination?

No. Since this type of examination is almost always requested by the patient, you will be responsible for the full amount of the charge. You may pay by either credit card or cash.
